The Penalty Shootout game is one of the most popular games on my SchoolHistory.co.uk website. The concept is simple - the player needs to get a question correct to try and score a penalty. The game combines the intellectual challenge of answering questions together with the game playing challenge of trying to beat the keeper.

The application produces Flash files which can be integrated into a website, an intranet or used directly from any PC. This means a teacher can use their games via a projector, interactive whiteboard or in a computer suite.

The Penalty schootout game - which can be seen in practice on my SchoolHistory.co.uk site - is a fantastic way to review and recap information. The game offers a one player version (where the player has to answer 10 questions to try and score 10 penalties) and a two player version (where each player has 5 questions each to try and outscore their opponent). The game also offers differing ranges of challenge - this changes the quality of the goalkeeper - from 'simply awful', 'average', 'good' and 'top quality'.

The downloadable Penalty Shootout Generator is a complete package - allowing the user to create an unlimited number of games. The questions for each game can be saved, loaded and consequently edited via the interface, and the whole application has been carefully designed for ease of use. As you can save and load your data files, you can easily differentiate, adapt and improve your games.

This allows anyone to generate their own Macromedia Flash-based interactive game. The application allows you to enter your own multiple choice questions, with a minium of 20 questions per game, but with no maximum number.
